THIS IS JUST AN IDEA!!! IF YOU GUYS THINK IT'S A BAD IDEA TO SOMEWHAT SELL MY DVDS, THEN I WON'T!!! I NEED FEEDBACK!!!!!! Hey guys, I'm driving to California with a few of my friends this summer...now, since it's about 3000-4000 miles round trip, I need money. And lots of it. Seriously. Gas is already $4.10 in southern CA (so I've heard). My car gets 40MPG (which is BITCHIN!!) At $5 a gallon, it'll cost about $600 to get there and back. Now, I only have 5 bucks in my wallet and I leave in about...a month. Lol. And I need at least $500 to cover my share of gas, plus food, etc. We're not staying at hotel's and we're bringing food. Now, this whole idea of driving west was because of Fast Food Nation. I read about In-N-Out Burger and wanted to go there immediately. Help me out dudes!!!! I'm getting long winded, but here's my idea. I have about 200+ DVDs of AC/DC sitting in my closet...not being used. Or watched or anything. I'm willing to get these out to you guys, but in return, I need money. I also have Guns N' Roses DVDs. Check out my lists at acdc-bootlegs.com/acdcussr/www.freewebs.com/acdcussr/dvdlist.html THANKS!!!!!!

If I had the money, I'd give you some, but right now I only have 23 dollars in my wallet, and want to be able to get the (not-so-)new Black Crowes album and still have a few bucks left. Graduating from high school in a couple of weeks (May 30) and it's gonna be hard for me to find a job.
But hey, this type of selling isn't bad, it's the same thing that many people do on eBay with their CDs all the time. Now what makes me mad is when people want to make a living off of selling their shit.

While we are on the subject of cars, what do y'all think of this deal:
$3,000 for a 1990 Ford Bronco? I'm looking for a car cause even though my grandma has a car that ain't being used, she won't let me have it. It's technically my granddad's, but he's in bad shape and can't really walk now, much less drive, but she still won't let me have it. And it's a '99 Taurus. No cassette or CD, but that can be arranged.
I've also been offered a 1982 Ford truck if I help this friend of my mom's out this summer. Should I take the safe bet on a truck?

well call me old fashioned but for a possible outlay of $3,000, I think I woild shell out a few bucks and get someone with a bit of mechanical know how to check it out for me first.

Of course I'm gonna get a mechanic (or at least someone who knows cars) to check it out, if I go with the Bronco. Now if I go with the '82 Ford, I'll still have someone who knows a bit about cars to look at it, but because all I'd lose is just the time I would've spent working for the guy, I'd be able to devote a little money once I get a job to fix it up myself.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
The later the model, the better the mileage, and as we all know, gas prices going up, mileage better go up with them. The one thing I could stand to see go down is gas. Just think about it, when we were younger (speaking from the point of view of an 18 year old here), gas breaking $1.50/gallon was something, now gas breaking $5.--/gallon is considered shocking. I attribute much of this on the bad economy. With a weaker dollar, imported goods rise in prices. Just take a look at what happened with the Wii, Nintendo stopped shipping as many here to the US because of lost profits.

My brother gets 8 MPG in his truck...it's an 81 Ford...351 engine!
Man, I remember when I was in like 5th grade, my grandpa gave us his old Lincoln...it was a 429 engine.. the biggest Ford has ever made. It got about 6MPG but it was a fuckin' tank!

Wow...8 mpg.
That's helped me out a lot in making my decision.
But yeah, a lot of older cars were like tanks. Especially if it doesn't have power steering or the power steering has gone out in it.

Oh, it was fully loaded, but it was about 20 feet long (even though it only had 2 doors). It barely fit in our garage...god I loved that thing.
