He's pretty good, from what I've heard. "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" is one of the best songs ever, and has stood the test of time. I know someone who says that the Clapton version is the best of the three (Dylan, Clapton, and GNR). Also, as you know, it's one of the songs that has survived the generation gap of GNR 1 to GNR 2. He also wrote and recorded a song that would later be recorded by country singer Garth Brooks (who has frequently said live and in interviews that he draws heavily from the rock music of the 70s and the country of the early 80s, like James Taylor, Bob Dylan, and George Strait), this song is known as "To Make You Feel My Love". He also recorded a version of the song which would later become famous thanks to the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?", the song, "Man Of Constant Sorrow". www.bobdylan.com/songs/ - Complete list of songs He is probably one of the few true legends of rock that have stood the test of time, without having to really change his sound to gain new fans, as to not alienate his old fans.

Just got the 3 CD box set. Great stuff, especially Subterranean Homesick Blues.

ya! Love "Hurricane" I remember listening to an old cassette with Dylan and Johnny Cash at my grandparents house as a child. They'd occasionally have Mountain dew brought over from the states, so they put on the cassette with Dylan and Cash singing that Mountain Dew song, when serving it to us. Good times! Oh, btw if anyone would be kind enough to send me a six-pack of mountain dew, from the USA to Norway. I would be very pleased :]
