I think there ok, some of there stuff is to soft in my opinion. Theres no heavy riffs. Though there is, its just not heavy enough.

I find it funny that the words your put in bold, you misspelled. Either way, I'm not retarded. I knew that you were talking about the listening part, but it's very funny that he agreed with you, then you agreed with him, is that okay with you? Is it allowed to be funny? Or must I ask for your permission to laugh?

I think they're ok, good for moments when not one style really fits, so put on a Zep comp cd and kick it back, then you can just listen to the mood changes.
Once again, I risk banishment, but one of our local country stations actually sometimes plays some of the Eagles and I even heard a Jimmy Buffet song, so that makes that station my second favorite station next to my local hard rock station, still listening for the day I hear Stiff Upper Lip on there.
One of the guys in Hayseed Dixie said that he didn't know anyone he liked to hang around that had just one type of music straight in their collection, and let me see, I've got Zeppelin, JLL, CDB, Aerosmith, of course AC/DC, and some other stuff.
Stairway To Heaven = one of the most recognizable songs ever, although it's not the song that Zeppelin should be remembered for, since it's not their best.
I think songs like Black Dog, Rock and Roll, and Whole Lotta Love describe them better to a modern audience, since you get three things out of the way, heavy riffs, screaming vocals, and a beat.
Whatever happened to the old stuff, oh wait, that's right, it's not "cool" anymore.
(This was all a bunch of horse shit, none of it should be taken seriously, I was just bored and started typing)

Hate them, there overrated. Most people here who "supposably" like them have never heard of them at all. I don't understand why people actually love them so much, no offense or anything.
Now by saying that, I'm not saying not to like Zeppelin.

Now by saying that, I'm not saying not to like Zeppelin. About the overrated part, that is kinda true, the singer doesn't sound that great all the time, IMO Lynyrd Skynyrd's singer is better than him, and in a way better than Bon Scott because of his vocal range. Favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs = Simple Man, Sweet Home Alabama, Free Bird (Live from Atlanta, 1976).

Stairway to Heaven is the #1 most requested song on the radio. AC/DC actually said part of the reason they wrote Highway to Hell was to beat out Stairway to Heaven. Our local station played some good stuff tonight. AC/DC, Led Zep, some Queen, and some Pink Floyd. Quite a change of opinion angusaholic!
