Thanks. I hope it turns out good as well. If I get enough money for Xmas, I maybe be able to buy the guitar now and prep the body up so I have time to go straight to painting.

Well, you also got to practice enough to cause it to break in two like Eddie's did in the early 80s.

Thats a different guitar. The Frankenstein is a mess of a guitar but it kicks so much ass!

Oh yeah, that guitar is definitely beat up. It reminds me of Willie Nelson's Martin guitar he calls "Trigger", after Roy Roger's old reliable horse. He says when Trigger gets too beat up to play, he will retire.

Yeah, which is where the "I'll retire" part comes in.
I think since that was the guitar he had when he became famous, it's like Eddie Van Halen and his guitar, he figures it just won't be right playing another one.
