I mean, i have the Rock In Rio 3 MPEG, and the new GNR are entertaining to watch, but i mean you just cant compare them to the original line up

its like Brian Johnson coming out with a solo album, the die-hards will appreciate it, but it will not if it ever comes out, enjoy the succes of the real band

sorry bout this, classic lineups all the way, why do you think ac/dc went back to Phil Rudd, he wasn't the best, but he was the more popular

now that this is brought back up, i have to say if the new album came out it would be very good. i just dunno if axl will have his shit together

Well, as usual on my LOOOONG inactive topic reviving,
If AC/DC, GNR, Aerosmith, KISS, Van Halen, Foreigner and any other classic rock band that is still active (not retired from recording), released a new album in the same two or three month period, it'd be huge!
it'd be just like going back to the days of old in which record labels strategically planned releases, even shifting them around to release one popular artist's album in the same month as another on another label.
I think music needs a really big revolution to happen sometime soon. That is, a kickass rock revolution.
