Ive decided to try and fix up the Largo 1981 gig (audio and video). The question id like to ask is, does anybody know of any useful tools for video to do this (color correcton, ...)

Yep, but im having some problems with ripping the dvd's.
Can you suggest something with which I could rip a dvd to a single mpeg video file without any quality loss. I'm not at home so much at the moment so i don't have the time to search for something good enough.
Im really serious about this cause I love this concert, and I'll try to do the best.
I'd also be cool if anyone knew how to extract the audio from the video (so i can fix it up a little) and then integrate it back in the video file.

i dunno what program your using, but your probably best off editing the sound of the mp3's or whatever format you have the show in. Then replacing the audio that way. its easier to do it with stereo sound then instead of putting up with the cameras shitty sounds they usually capture.
as for video editing. not my field.

Actually, if I'm not mistake Maniac, Largo 81 is the proshot For Those About To Rock tour gig, with Santa and a reindeer and snow, might try to fiddle around with one song in Tmpgenc express to just see whatever the heck I can do to it.

Adobe Premiere. A few other Adobe things should also help too.

Yeah, and perhaps while your doing your thing with that, do a small clip frame to remove the few bad pixels at the top and bottom of the frame, you know, the old tape conversion glitch things.

I'll try to do my best.
Oh, I forgot to ask you all something. You know the guy called Jack Death, the one that fixes up audio gigs? I'd be grat if someone had his version of the audio from this show in flac.

Also (If you have the money) it's wise to invest in hardware. But these days you usually almost get what you pay for.
