Better - how could you not have heard of this song? It's been one of the most popular new leaks...
There Was A Time - leaked in February 2006 with IRS and Better
Oh My God - from the 1999 "End Of Days" soundtrack... after a few listens, it's a really good song. If the 2006/2007 band reworked it, it could be an AMAZING song.
Catcher in the Rye - leaked in March 2006 or late February, pretty good song. Give it a few listens.
A friend of mine (also a GNR nut) played Chinese Democracy for a few of our friends with different musical tastes. They all loved it. We have to burn the demo CD for a buncha people now, including a few teachers! GNR IS BACK!

Guns will be back as soon as the Roses bloom.
Just like AC will be back as soon as the DC Blows Up a Video.
Can you believe that answers.com has a listing for Chinese Democracy the album, with a "tentative" release date of "March 2007"
Here we are in May.

Chinese is the best IMO... I hope we get a 2002 demo of The Blues with the rock intro and feel. Sorry for the double post, but I found the 2002 version of The Blues. It has the piano, but where the piano chord riff (I have no idead what the technical terminology is), is a heavy guitar riff instead, it also in a bit longer, clocking in a just over 5 minutes, that's including a little intro bit from Axl saying "On piano..." That's enough of me ranting, let's get to the sweet spot of this post: The Blues (Live 2002 "Tour"): www.megaupload.com/?d=E3LOWLSG

I'm talking about the STUDIO version. I have heard it live many times.

And you know what? I happened upon the "rock"-y studio version. The vocals aren't quite as nice as the live version, but it does sound quite nice, for a demo. www.megaupload.com/?d=SRW6I114I don't know if it makes a difference, but this particular version is labeled as "Bloody Roses remaster"

Yea, that's the guy who remastered live versions of songs to make them sound studio... I think this one has an annoying echo if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, but it sure does fool the casual listener. I mean, I could not tell any evidence of a "live" track.

You really think that a studio version of a song from an album that took this long would sound like this?
mabey if by casual you mean has never listened to music before lol

haha true Kyle, so Drew by saying the guy makes them sound studio, does this mean all the demos are live versions made to sound studio? Or is it just that song "The Blues" ?

All the songs in the zip folder I uploaded are actual demos. "Bloody Rose" just remastered a few tracks back in 2002 to make them sound like they were studio versions (since they weren't available at that time).

In response to what SUA said,
I mean someone who listens to music without fretting over details such as, "Oh, I think he hit the wrong note there" or, "Oh my god, they let a bum note on the guitar in, aah!".
Also, by studio anyone could mean anything that was done in the studio, ie, demos, dubs, or albums.
Demos have long had the reputation of not being the greatest in sound quality (I am aware that the definition is changing as we speak, or type, whichever)
Dubs include re-doing a guitar solo, or a vocal track for a live material, which is commonly frowned upon.
Albums, high quality great shit.

Well, it goes back to the "unsuspecting" ears.
If you don't know it ain't technically "studio", you wouldn't be able to guess.
But after giving it a listen with some earplugs, I can hear the traces of crowd noise bleeding through.
