i hate to do this.... the original is closer to the masters. the originals of Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip ain't that much closer to the masters, seeing as they were digitally mastered in the first place and digitally "remastering" a digital master doesn't make any sense at all, so all Epic did was rerelease it. once again, sorry for posting in a nearly year dead thread (hey, that flowed ) anyway, thought id bring that point up

Stiff Upper Lip was recorded on analog tape, not digital.

i know, but a website i was on said that the Epic Reissues were digitally remastered for albums over 10 years old, and most people still use analog tapes to record on, seeing as it's easier to use, and then they scan them into a computer and do the mixing and mastering from there.
addition 1: like in the Hayseed Dixie albums, it says on the first one (the AC/DC one) that it was recorded on 8 tracks of American analog tape. addition 2: i read on the back of the Ballbreaker reissue that it says "Digitally mastered by George Marino"

The Razor's Edge, no doubt.

well duh, cause of the bigger songs (Thunderstruck, Moneytalks, Razors Edge, Are You Ready, Fire Your Guns) and i really like Rock Your Heart Out and Goodbye & Good Riddance to Bad Luck
edit: but i think i know where your coming from on wanting the originals, the truly original album art. cause Ballbreaker's CD insert had "Marvel Comic" artwork in it, the most popular of the drawings being the Ballbreaker woman herself.

EXACTLY!!!! It's a matter of personal opinion. Weather you love a band or hate them, there is no point in getting into fights about opinions. travishayes89 If I ask you do you like 1930 love songs and you say you love them and I hate them there is no point in arguing about it, I mean your never going to convert someone into hating a band or loving them. It's all just a matter of opinion. Sure I can see why you ask these questions to make conversation because thats what forums do, but perhaps thinking a little more clearly about what your going to type before you actually post it would help and you might not get people yelling back at you, lol.
