That track, along with Riff Raff, Let There Be Rock, and The Jack, and Rock 'N' Roll Damnation (most likely...), all come from Glasgow, but have had some extensive post-recording editing done pre and post-production to achieve a more uniform sound, and to overcome limitations of recording in the 70s.

Well, it was initially intended to ask where the If You Want Blood album was recorded, and then it turned into a 1978 live album location thread of sorts.

the official tracklist for the glascow gig is
1. Riff Raff 2. Problem Child 3. Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be 4. Rock And Roll Damnation 5. Bad Boy Boogie 6. Dog Eat Dog 7. The Jack 8. High Voltage 9. Whole Lotta Rosie 10. Let There Be Rock 11. Rocker 12. Fling Thing 13. Rocker
I thing Fling Thing / Rocker must have been an encore, because they never usually play a song twice, and i used to think the first version of Rocker was the one on If You Want Blood album, but after careful investigation i found out that Rocker (IYWB) is actually from Fling Thing / Rocker with extra crowd noise added in. So i'm not sure if they even played it twice..

I think that might actually be a typo on all the listings.
But Dog Eat Dog has been released as a b-side to the live version of Whole Lotta Rosie. And Fling Thing is on Family Jewels, along with Riff Raff.
I also have on bootleg DVD the videos of Riff Raff, Rock 'N' Roll Damnation, Bad Boy Boogie, Dog Eat Dog, Let There Be Rock, and Fling Thing/Rocker from the Austalian ABC RAGE videos. Two versions as a matter of fact, Live 77-78 and Highway To Hell.
